Position: Client Manager
Varsity Technologies (http://www.varsitytechnologies.com) is seeking an energetic individual to join our growing team as a Client Manager. We are looking for individuals who want to get a start in a new profession in sales. Prior background in customer service or sales strongly preferred.

As a Client Manager, you will work with socially responsible small businesses, non-profits and schools to help them get the service they need and help them make technology decisions. In addition to being good with people, you’ll also need to be organized and detail oriented. Our clients rely on the Client Manager to give them timely and accurate information. That information can be in the form of translating product information, pricing on a product, order status, or scheduling service.
In coordination with the sales team, the Client Manager will be responsible for direct customer service to clients, producing sales quotes, and order processing.
Sales:
- Identify products to meet client needs with sales engineers from Varsity and vendor partners
- Research products, promotions and pricing online and with manufacturer and distributor representatives
- Create and update quotes using quoting application
- Register opportunities with manufacturers
- Enter client information into CRM
- Update sales activities in CRM
- Conduct outbound call campaigns to clients
- Perform regular communications to clients
- Coordinate sales calls and meetings between clients and engineers, vendors, a field sales
Order Processing:
- Verify accuracy of order with engineering
- Research and verify product availability with distributors
- Place orders with distributors
- Track shipment of orders and backorders
- Communicate updates to client and project team as required
- Update order fulfillment in system
- Process returns when required
Customer Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Coordinate resolution of bills with accounting
- Resolve customer requests for billing and orders
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least one year of experience in a similar role.

Position: Sales Assistant
In coordination with the sales team, the Sales Assistant will be responsible for direct customer service to clients, producing sales quotes, and order processing.
Procurement:
- Create purchase orders and order hardware/software
- Track orders (shipped, received, backordered, missing items/shipments)
- Receive hardware, notify consultants, label & store in supply room
- Process returns (RMAs)
- Manage project invoicing schedules
- Manage ecommerce site; create user accounts, process orders, synchronize POs & Sales Orders with in-house accounting application
- Maintain Vendor/Partner relationships – keep track of current deals & promos, partner agreement status
Customer Service and Sales:
- Work with sales engineers from Varsity and vendor partners to identify products that meet client needs
- Research manufacturers and distributors for products, promotions, and pricing online

Position: Marketing Assistant
If you are looking for a marketing position where you can make a difference, this role could be an ideal one for you. We are looking for a high-energy, motivated self-starter that is interested in helping schools and non-profit organizations make an impact through the use of sustainable information technology solutions.
The Marketing Assistant will work with the Director of Marketing to assist in regular marketing activities as well as lead some marketing projects, including:
Public Relations and Events:
- Identify opportunities for public speaking engagements, including market-specific conferences
- Research and draft presentations for public speaking engagements
- Research information for inclusion in industry-specific magazine articles
Internet and Social Media Marketing:
- Create, develop, and maintain web content
- Implement and update business listing on directories
- Perform latest practices in search engine optimization
- Review and report on internet (email/web/etc.) analytics and provide analysis and recommendations
- Develop cross-references with other vendor/client/partner/public sites
- Implement social media marketing strategy (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, blog)
Demand Generation:
- Create email promotions

We are looking for energetic individuals who possess at least three years' experience providing IT engineering, design, and support services for mid-sized business networks, servers, and applications.
As a Systems Engineer, you will:
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of support staff supporting our clients.
- Act as a senior level, tier 3, point of escalation for more advanced issues.
- Develop procedures for managing a wide array of systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Oversee scheduled maintenance and review reports for presentation to clients.
- Research solutions and propose designs for client IT environments.
- Serve clients by supporting their staff through technical support and education.
- Meet internal and client SLA’s and provide reporting using internal CRM.
